Aluminium substructure, 120 mm mineral wool and composite panel cladding across 640 sqm of façade.
Context
An ’80s building with heavy heat loss through the walls and a degraded façade.
What we did
- aluminium substructure with thermally broken brackets
- 120 mm mechanically fixed mineral wool
- composite panels with a 40 mm ventilated air gap
Outcome
Gas consumption in the first winter dropped by roughly a third against the three-year average.
